Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Centennial Playground

Centennial Playground

This playground is located on the streetside of Mill River Complex Park. This is a riverside park with baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts with restrooms in the grey building.

The playground is completed fenced in with a gate that can close to keep the kids safe inside. The ground inside the playground is rubber. There are two buses to climb on, 8 swings, and a complex of monkey bars and slides. Note there are no bigger kid swings, the swings are all the infant-full bottom kind.

BEST FEATURE: The view of the river and there's a lot of benches inside for Moms to sit.

GOOD FOR: This is best for little kids with older siblings who like to play basketball or other sports.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: There is a parking strip that you will notice first when pulling into the park area. Don't part there because the street is busy. Instead, keep driving and you can pull into a more secure parking lot near the playground.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No.
