Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Michel Park Playground

Michel Park Playground

This playground is almost always empty, likely because it's not too well-known.

The playground features a little kid shop, a geo dome climber, three giant slides, rope climbs, and only two swings. There may have been more swings that were removed and not replaced. The ground is rubber with some breakage at the time of this post, surrounded by lawns. There is a sizable looped path immediately next to the playground that moms can exercise on while still watching the kids. Kids who like to climb will enjoy this playground.

The bathrooms and tables with pretty trellis are close to the parking area.

GOOD FOR: Letting the kids play while Moms jog or having lunch outside.

BEST FEATURE: The three large slides.

YOU SHOULD KNOW:  It's super sunny, so bring the sunscreen.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No
