Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

There are two playgrounds visible and accessible from Field 1 and Field 4 parking lots with a short walk. The park is HUGE so make sure you know where you want to go before coming by checking out the map.

FIELD 1 PLAYGROUND 1 is very sunny with a cute gazebo for shade for Moms. The ground is rubber except for the swing area which has wood chips. The bathrooms are within sight off to the left. The playground is surrounded by lawns and a huge picnicking area. There are plenty of big and small slides, wheels, and poles to climb.

FIELD 4 PLAYGROUND is also very sunny. The little kid section is fenced in and a small distance away from the big kid section. These playgrounds are colorful and have a lot of slides and a fun stepping bridge.

FIELD 6 PLAYGROUND is by the water and picnic area. It features big and little kid areas. The little kid side is larger with a pretend bus feature and low pull-up bars. The big kid side has three tall multicolored slides (accessible only by a corkscrew ladder or horizontal rock climb), two other quite tall slides, and very long pole. The ground is rubber except for the swims which have wood chips below. The best part of this playground is the view of the water and cool ocean breeze.

GOOD FOR: A long day at the park, along with picnicking and hiking.

BEST FEATURE: Lots of space for the kids to run.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: There can be lots mosquitoes so bring the bug spray.
