Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

This park is super cute. There is an art museum and climbable sculpture art scattered around the property. The park is very similar to Cedar Creek Park in that the park is quite busy and there can be lots of Moms exercising around the pathways. Within sight of the large pond, three playground sections are completely enclosed by a fence.

The playground area has a little kid section, a middle section, and older kid section with two sets of swings, and two sandboxes. Inside the fence there are also picnic tables and seating with adequate shade for Moms. The little kid area has several bouncers, a play train, and small slide. The medium age area has a hanging chain bridge, ladders, and medium slides. The big kid section includes several tall slides, a faux rock climb, and a slightly dangerous rock climb bridge.

The ground is rubber and springy. There are restrooms are located outside the fence nearby. While the equipment isn't brand new, it is in great condition and seems newish.

GOOD FOR: Filling up an afternoon with many different activities (walk around the pond and watching the wildlife, the playgrounds, art museum, etc).

BEST FEATURE: The long, tall slide and steep rock climb bridge. Also the view of the pond is very beautiful.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: There is a small parking lot off Prime Avenue that fills up fast but there is a lot of parking on the street on Madison Street which is closer to the playground.
