Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Harborfront Park Playground

Harborfront Park Playground

This playground is in the metered parking lot off Mill Lane Creek near the water. It is divided into a little kid and big kid side, both fenced in. The basketball courts are within view.

It is a typical playground, older and faded, but maintained. There are two play sections with swings on both sides of the playground. There are slides, ladders, bars to hang on, and a cage tower.

There are no restrooms in sight. The ground is sand and hard to push a stroller on. It can feel very hot on a sunny day so bring water and the sunscreen.

GOOD FOR: Letting the kids run off energy before having a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.

BEST FEATURE: The tall, twisted tube slide.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: The playground is older and there are swings missing.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No.
