Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Geiger Memorial Park

This park is currently under construction but the brand new playground area is complete.

Large and with a treehouse theme, the playground is really nice. The top levels are quite high with interesting slides attached. There are unique features like a rock climb, twisting sculptures, and climbers.

The ground is rubber and the playground is sunny and quite hot. There are restrooms in the central building but are only unlocked when the sprayground is open.

The sprayground is large and brand new. It is only open to Town of Babylon residents and costs $5. They are very strict and check IDs. They wouldn't let my tearful kids in despite the 92 degree heat and my insistence that the website is unclear.  From the outside, it looked nice but crowded.

GOOD FOR: Trying out a new playground.

BEST FEATURE: High up platforms and tall slides.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: Playground is open to everyone but the sprayground is only for town residents.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: Yes, if a resident.
