Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Behind the Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike is a small but cute playground. The lawn is expansive and there are two beautiful, large trees that provide great shade. Bring a soccer ball and stay a while.

The equipment is fun for big and little kids. The long tunnel delighted my boys. There are a few slides and a tic, tac, toe feature. The clear peep holes were slightly dirty but not too bad.

There is no bathroom. The ground is half wood chips and half sand.

BEST FEATURE: The variety of the slides, bouncers, sand fun, and grass to run.

GOOD FOR: Treating the kids after shopping on Hempstead Turnpike.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: It feels fairly open. There isn't a surrounding gate and if you aren't watching carefully your little one could walk off into the park parking lot, or worse into the Walmart parking lot.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No.
