Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

East Islip Marina Park Playground

East Islip Marina Park Playground

This adorable small beach and playground is perfect for small children. Take the long and beautiful drive to the end of Bayview Road and the small playground is at the far end.

Kids play on multiple slides, two separate swing sets, and a faux rock climb. The ground is all sand. Watch if your kids are runners because there is access to the beach, particularly behind the restaurant. There is also unobstructed access to the parking lot. There is no shade, so bring the sunscreen.

BEST FEATURE: The view and amenities. There's a restaurant as well as showers and bathrooms adjacent to the playground.

GOOD FOR: A day of swimming and playing and an oceanview lunch.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: During the summer season, you must be a Town of Islip resident to enter.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No, it's great but like other town beach playgrounds.
