Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

East Bay Park Playground

East Bay Park Playground

This fenced-in playground is a short walk from the entrance, basically in the middle of the park block. The playground is surrounded by green lawns, tennis and basketball courts, and a bocci ball court. While there are many trees, the playground can still be quite sunny and exposed so bring the sunscreen.

The playground includes big and little sections on opposite sides with swings and a sandpit. There are plenty of benches for Moms and a trellis with tables. The actual equipment is older and slightly faded but in good condition. My kids enjoyed the slides and monkey bars.

There is mostly rubber ground with a mix of concrete and grass, perfect for bring scooters and bikes for kids who want to ride around. There are restrooms and a vending machine of water/soda outside but adjacent to the playground.

GOOD FOR: Kids of multiple ages who are interested in different activities (soccer, biking, little slides, chalk, climbing)

BEST FEATURE: Sandpit with digger and bouncy animals.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: You can park on the street. We went at 5pm and the sprinklers were running.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No
