Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Brookwood Hall Park Playground

Brookwood Hall Park Playground

The playground is on the side entrance of this beautiful park. The park contains Brookwood Hall, a senior center, a cute nearby garden, an art museum, tennis and bocci courts and beautiful Knapps Lake.

The playground appears new and is very sunny and hot. There are monkey bars, platforms off the ground (which create shady spots underneath), a sign language teaching sign, rock climb, and balancers. The ground is rubber and the entire area is fenced in with a gate that closes.

GOOD FOR:: Little kids who need to be fenced in.

BEST FEATURE: Definitely the realistic looking rock climb

YOU SHOULD KNOW: There are no restrooms within view of the playground and a Town of Islip Recreation Card is required to enter Brookwood Hall. Coyles Homemade Ice Cream Shop is close by and is perfect for cooling down after a long day at the park.
