Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

This newish playground is really fun with unique features. I overheard another mother talking about impressed she was about the playground. Follow the signs for picnic area until you come to the parking lot and the playground is on the right side.

There are two distinct big and little sections. The big kid section has a unique tree branch climb, peddles, ropes, spinning pole, spinning steps, chains, and bridges with a treehouse look. The little kid side has bouncy insects, tunnel, drums, slides, and a faux rock climb. There is a great woodsy feel with lots of trees and trails nearby.

There are restrooms to the left. The ground is rubber but note there are also loose rubber chips areas and some wood chips. The playground area is surrounded by picnic tables and a huge sunny lawn. Basketball courts are within view.

Without the Empire Passport, the parking fee is $10 but you can go for free after 5pm weekdays and after 6pm on weekends.

GOOD FOR: Spending a whole day picnicking in the park.

BEST FEATURE: Realistic rock climb.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: The park is a little confusing so know where you need to go ahead of time.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: Yes.
