Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Bethpage Community Park

Bethpage Community Park

This playground is at the back of the parking lot, past the ice skating building, pool complex, and skate park. It is fenced in but not completely enclosed. The playground is pretty typical with some newish equipment (very similar to Marjorie Post). There are musical elements and a height measurer as well as a large sandbox.

There are no restrooms visible from the playground and the ground is rubber. There is little shade so bring the sunscreen.

GOOD FOR: Playing after a dip in the pool.

BEST FEATURE: The huge sandbox.

YOU SHOULD KNOW: The skate park may sometimes attract older kids who may or may not stop by the playground.

SUGGESTION TO THE TOWN: Replace the hopscotch area with some sprinklers.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: No, it's very typical playground.
