Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Benoit Park

Benoit Park

This is a small playground, just off Wantagh Avenue with a parking lot across the street.

There is only one play area and swings with wood chip ground. Adjacent there is a basketball court and handball courts. There is lots of grass for extra running around for for bringing a ball.

There is little shade so bring the sunscreen. There are no restrooms here.

GOOD FOR: Quiet playing, meeting neighbors.

BEST FEATURE: The hanging monkey bars

YOU SHOULD KNOW:  The view isn't great; the playground is behind a shopping plaza. Also, sometimes there can be trash lying around (broken glass, cigarettes).
