Hi.

Playgrounds, spraygrounds, and pools are a fun way to get Moms and kids out of the house and in the sunshine. Long Island has a multitude of fantastic playgrounds for residents and guests to enjoy.

Babylon Town Hall Park

Babylon Town Hall Park

This playground is large with lots of different things for kids to do. Though faded, it is in good condition. There is not a separate big kid and little kid play area.

There is no shade here so bring the sunscreen. There are restrooms are outside, right next to the playground area. Below the ground is rubber.

There are a few swings, lots of slides and tunnels, as well as picnic tables.

The entire playground is fenced-in which is needed because there is an open pond just off the playground. It provides a fantastic view with a water fountain, waterfall, and ducks. After the kids play, you can walk the loop around the pond and look at the beautiful scattered gardens. It's a serene and calming place to stop and have a snack together.

GOOD FOR: Fun on a cooler or breezy day, especially if you need a little zen.

BEST FEATURE: The view; the pond is gorgeous and peaceful.

YOU SHOULD KNOW:  Kids outside the playground area are unobstructed from being able to run right into the pond.

WORTH A LONG DRIVE: Yes
